Hiltz Taekwon-Do hosted two days of seminars which included 100 students in total on November 10-11th in Sackville Nova Scotia.
The seminars
were conducted by 8th Degree Black Belt and CTFI Technical Director Master Pierre Laquerre from Trios-Rivières Quebec. Mr. David Hiltz, 6th Dan, and Mrs. Jacqui Hiltz, 2nd Dan, who are students of Master Laquerre also had the pleasure to train with him at his new Dojang in Trios-Rivières Quebec for the entire week prior to the seminars.
The pattern seminars on Saturday were divided into two parts. The first 3 hours were dedicated to blue belt and below patterns and the second 3 hours covered red belt to 4th Dan patterns. Following the Saturday pattern seminars, Master Laquerre provided an educational and truly invaluable 90 minute protocol and etiquette seminar. The 3 hour seminar Sunday morning covered many aspects of sparring for both competitive and non competitive students.
Having Master Pierre Laquerre teach in Nova Scotia at Hiltz Taekwon-Do has been a great opportunity for all who attended to learn from a man with such wealth of knowledge and experience. All seminars were very much enjoyed by all participants and we Look forward to Master Laquerre’s next visit.
