MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

April 24, 2006

Dear CTFI members,

This is to inform you that Mr. Michel Demers and Mr. Chris Reid have left the CTFI and rejoined back with Master Choi's Group. Therefore, both Mr. Demers and Reid are no longer members of the CTFI. Any communication from either of these people has not nothing to do with our Federation under the direction of ITF President Master Tran Trieu Quan.

It has been brought to my attention that Mr. Demers has sent out an invitation to some of our members for a IIC seminar to be held by Master Choi in June 2006, this is not sanctioned event by our Federation. Mr. Demers has taken advantage of the CTFI's kindness to allow him back into our organization. In return for our kindness he is trying to recruit our loyal members to an unsanctioned and unaffiliated event. Because of this type of conduct it will only make it more difficult for the CTFI to accept new members returning by their word and without some kind of sanction. 

The CTFI is a professional organization that will not accept groups that do not take our Federation seriously.

 The CTFI and ITF will be hosting an International Instructors Course in Halifax, December 1st and 2nd, 2006. For more information please see our website at www.ctfi.org for details.
