On Saturday, November 25 Grand Master Laquerre presented a 6 hour technical seminar in Vancouver. The seminar consisted of two parts. The 4 hour morning component was dedicated to sparring including the psychology of competition, tournament preparation and counter attack skill sets. In the 2 hour afternoon period GM Laquerre reviewed pattern fundamentals, colour belt patterns and secrets of pattern competition success. All too soon the seminar was finished.
It was a terrific event full of TKD anecdotes, humour and inspiration. The age group ranged from 11 to 60 plus and all students were delighted with the presentation.
It was an honour to have GM Laquerre make the trip out to B.C. We would look forward to his next visit.
