The Eastern Canadian Taekwon-Do Championships were held May 25th & 26th in Montreal, Quebec hosting competitors from across the country. This was also a selection for the ITF World Junior Championships being held in Honduras in July. The top 3 medalists in each of the Junior Black Belt divisions qualified as individual competitors in Sparring and Patterns. The pattern teams were chosen with both male junior and female junior teams winning from Quebec. The sparring teams had previously been selected during the Can-Am championships in April.
